No it's not a Caribbean island. It 's a tiny island nested in the Saint-Lawrence river not far from my home. Twenty one years ago as I moved to Quebec from the Carribean I was stuned by the beauty of this river. It does have shades of blue and green that rival with tropical waters. Flying above it a few days ago reminded me of this river's beauty. Add to it a ray of ligjht and it's emerald hue comes alive. For those of my friends living near to it I invite you to discover it again and be amazed by it.
